Ok so I am trying really hard to stay within my budgetary constraints.I am stashing a small amount in my savings for my emergency fund...I am investing a small amount for retirement... but then I pay all my bills and i am left with little or no disposable income. This is a sad state when I go to the supermarket and I walk out having spent a hundred dollars on two bags of groceries. I feel like the cost of living has spun completely out of control and we are paying a huge price for our government's ineptitude and the poor management of huge corporations whose greed and avarice has weakened our economy and is forcing all of us to live emptier and more desperate lives- as we cling to our jobs for dear life! I mean the cost of living is insanely high! It is not ok to charge almost four dollars for a gallon of milk or six to seven dollars for a box of cereal, three dollars for a carton of eggs? And what amazes me is that no one is complaining ...I mean really shouting at the top of their lungs that this is wrong. We are all so passive, we accept these prices and do not QUESTION them. We buy a cup of coffee paying 4 dollars and we think that is normal...it is not . It's just coffee for God's sake. Is there anyone out there who agrees with me? It feels like "the blind leading the blind" doesn't it ? We

Unfortunately the public thinks it's ok to spend the $4 on that burnt bean because it's chic & if you order it w/ skim milk it'll help you lose weight.
